Who Is Rhiannon Aberbathy?
I feel most like Rhiannon Aberbathy from Easy-A. The reason I feel like Rhiannon Aberbathy is not because she interrupts people and starts making them say things that they will regret, but it's because of how Olive treated her. I can relate to how she felt betrayed when her friend started changing into a person she couldn't recognize anymore. I relate because she felt hurt when her friend started lying to her, and then dropped her as a friend. I can relate to the feelings Rhiannon felt. In the movie Easy-A, Rhiannon was talking with her friend, she was excited after hearing that she spent the day with a guy. Rhiannon wanted to know what happened on that day because Olive decided to hangout with a guy over her best friend. Olive started to explain her day, and started saying that she slept with the guy, she started saying a lot of the freaky stuff they did. …show more content…
Rumors started to spread and Olive started changing because of them. Rhiannon wasn't happy that Olive was “giving everybody her cat” and Olive just said that Rhiannon was jealous of her. The reason why this is important is because I once had a friend who did something similar to me, just different rumors. Olive said that she started to change her appearance and how she acted. Rhiannon tried to stop her, but it was no good, and she lost her friend for a while. Even though at the end, Olive apologized, we didn't really see if they became friends again. In my situation, I didn't become friends with them, and neither side of the party apologized. In this whole situation, Rhiannon was hurt, and betrayed. She didn’t recognize her best friend anymore. Following the story later on, Olive went out to eat with Rhiannon’s crush. Olive tried to leave before any problems happened. That's not how Rhiannon saw it, she saw it as a betrayal from her best

Have you ever found a character, maybe in a tv show, or book, that you can relate to the most (especially by a landslide)? Some people could say yes to the moon and back, while some people have never related that much to a character in their life. For me, I’m more of the former, and I found a character to relate to in To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee; Scout Finch. To explain, Scout and I take longer than others to understand things, which could cause frustration in others (mainly peers), and we’re both put under at least some pressure to be more “lady-like”. There’s other similarities too, but they’re either not as significant or I couldn’t find as much quotes to support them.…

    Anne Orthwood

Anne Orthwood’s Bastard tells the story of John Kendall and Anne Orthwood and their bastard son, Jasper. It began with John and Anne’s meeting and ended when Jasper came of age. This book gave a detailed description of sex and law in early Virginia and how it differed from the law in England at the time. Two of the main themes seemed to be respectability and social mobility. During the 1660’s and 1670’s in Virginia, respectability and social mobility were two of the most important aspects people during that time aspired to accomplish. If one could climb the social ladder and gain the respect of their town, they were considered extremely successful. A person’s ability to gain this acceptance and move up in the social community ultimately had a direct correlation with what blood lines they married into, where they came from, and their family’s status within the community. However, these things did not guarantee one’s social status as the examples that follow indicate.…

To define its future, we have to know how it evolves. Marketing, in its different contexts, has been evolved from to-market, market(ing)-to, to the stage of market(ing)-with. In this paper, the author cites American Marketing Association’s (AMA’s) definition of marketing at different stages to exemplify the development of marketing. Obviously, the main idea of this paper would be author’s definition about marketing, with its focus and attention on concept of society, collaborative process, value, and stakeholders, that “Marketing is the adaptive process, in society and organizations, of collaborating to communicate, create, provide, and sustain value for customers through exchange relationships while meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders.” According to my personal experience and background of marketing, I believe the definition has pretty much covered the whole picture as well as the core value of marketing. However, it is the three elements, value, stakeholders, and collaborative process that impress me, because I believe those would be the keys that make marketing a comprehensive system.…
