The way it was fought was with dropping bombs one of the most destructive attack in all history because they wanted international power. It was about two nationalities fighting for economist and political powers. Cold War was due to many issues that were involved and not solved in WWII which, made more arguments and debate come along the way. The Soviet Union wanted to accumulate more territory and international power while the United States was trying to prevent the Soviet's Union's gain of many areas they were requesting. Some of the effects the cold war had was the American foreign policy this was attempts by the Soviet Union taking over areas, containment, the Truman doctrine, the Marshall plan and also the division of Germany after war. It was most to end discrimination and racial segregation. Many of this diversity among people were because of the whites owning slaves and there were property. In the south there was so many segregation and slavery, which many northerners did not agree too. African Americans are human as well and should not be treated differently because of their race or color. This was for everyone to be allowed to sit anywhere, go in any shopping center, restaurants and many more. Many whites did not agree to this law of set the African Americans free law. They did not agree to anything Abraham Lincoln was trying to do. He was under a lot of pressure, which it leads to the civil war because of civil rights. Many people did not want to live under these circumstances they wanted a change and end slavery. In conclusion, they were about given rights to their own citizens and to stop discrimination among people. I believe they were successful in many ways to give peoples right, but however we still do have some discriminations going on till this date and other issues that should be
