Zeus was the most dominant and well known greek god in greek mythology. Although he was the youngest god, he held the throne of Mount Olympus which ruled over other powerful gods and cast dominant abilities. He was the God of the sky and weather. He had the ability to dictate the weather depending if he was sad, furious or joyful. Zeus was a good God, wise, intelligent and ruled fairly amongst the gods of Olympus. He kept order in Olympus and on earth to ensure a safe environment for people to live and prosper successfully as long as they obeyed by his rules.
Ares was also a very notable and powerful god, but not as powerful as his father Zeus and mother Hera. He was the god of war and one of 12 Olympians. Although he had a very violent and aggressive demeanor, he had a soft spot for his beloved wife, Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. In Sparta Ares was viewed as a model soldier. He had many infidelities. Zeus also had the power to change into different forms of life, ranging from a bald eagle to an ordinary human being. While in human form as a man, he would meet women, seduce them and get them pregnant. It’s said that he’s had a total of 11 kids. This includes having a kid with his own sister, Hera, resulting in the birth of Ares. He also used his ability to change the weather as a weakness to citizens on earth.
