So, it’s Tuesday night, and I am running around the house like a maniac. I constantly check the time every five seconds. I grab my unicorn pillow pet and make a mad dash for the couch. It’s 8:00 when I plop down and turn the TV to channel 5. My absolute favorite television show, NCIS, starts. I am pretty much an obsessive, addicted, squealing fan of NCIS. My dad usually comes in and asks if it’s a new episode. I say yes, and he usually joins me.
My dad is a big part of my life. He has always been there for me, pushing me to do my best even if I could get by without trying. As a child, my dad forced my sister and I to read books during the summer and then write a report on the book we read. This is the reason I also have a hobby of reading. He also made us wake up super early in the morning to go on a bike ride, or a run, or something like that. My dad and I have a very close relationship and I know I can talk to him about anything, no matter what.
“I’m on your six boss” usually said by DiNozzo, is one of my favorite phrases in NCIS. I love that phrase because it basically means I have your back. Knowing that someone has my back is really important to me. My friends are a huge part of my life, and I’m kind of picky when it comes to them. My best friend’s name is Brittany, and she is going to be a junior at Aurora Central Catholic, just like I am. I have known her only since 8th grade, but when I met her, she instantly became my best friend because we were so alike. We liked the same things, like reading, volleyball and track, and she has always had my back, whether it was taking the blame for having the idea to ride our bikes to the seven eleven at 1:00 am to get slushies, or even taking the blame when I forgot to take the pizza out of the oven at her house,
