Why Are People So Racist?
Why are people so racist? I've been wondering that for a very long time and I think that it is time to stop and be nice to each other. In this paragraph, I am going to be talking about my opinion on racism. My first argument is why would people be so mean to other human beings. Why I think people are so mean is, because they are different and people don't like a difference in things. It's just not nice to judge someone because they are different and they aren't the same as you. it's like hating someone because you don't both like call of duty, or you don't like the same song or artist it's all the same thing and it's driving me crazy. So just stop being so mean and start to like each other and find something you both like and don't judge

In the Women’s Brain, Gould tells of the misinformed data of a woman's brain through the use of rhetoric analysis such as detail, bias, logos, ethos, etc. He uses this information to gravitate toward scientist, to show how they mislead the information and need to improve on data. Human beings are supposed to be kind and treat others with respect. The problem about humans, is the way we act toward each other based on their skin color. Racism is a major obstacle in multiple countries. Humans have a history of discriminating people on the simple things such as religion, language, and nationality. For example, when Rosa Park was victimized when she refuses to move to the back of the bus, she went to jail for standing up for herself and her race. At her time, white people were really racist and treated African American with disrespect. If she didn’t stand up for herself, we wouldn’t have a law of treating others with equality. She made a change and we should make a change as well. Therefore, tolerance, human qualities, and respect are the reason why people should accept others who are different from themselves.…

The amount of racism that still goes on today is sickening. People just can’t get along and too soon it turns into violence. Everyday, people get killed because they’re a certain color that others don’t like. For example, an African-American man got dragged by the back of a truck by three white men just because they hated black people. The black guy was innocent and did nothing wrong but these white men didn’t care.…

Everyday people experience racism in the world. Like the quote by poet and author Maya Angelou once said, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude. ” People need to change their way of thinking about others. People need to start understanding others feelings.…

The media, expecially online like Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, ect., play a huge role in being racist. They have post, pictures, clips, videos, etc., about the apperences of these races. When someone sees something like this and it has a racist joke, they end up thinking that it's okay to be rasict, and tend to teach others about it too. People are rasict towards blacks becasue of there skin type, the way they talk, and because of the stereotype they see them as. People are rasict towards mexicans becasue they are also different colored, they talk a different language, and therefore, they don't like them and start making rude jokes about them. People are rasict towards Asians becasue of their eyes, their language, the way they dress, and because…

Now no one really knows why or how racism all started but are many different beliefs as to why it did, for example some people have what is called “Xenophobia” which is the fear of people who are in anyway different. Another belief is the need to feel “OK” or to feel worthwhile this leads to people trying to feel superior over others by putting them down or being racist towards them. One more reason as to why racism all started is because people learned to conceal fear with racism. Many people react with fear towards those who look or come across different to them. But instead of showing fear or that they are afraid they use racial comments or racial slurs. Anyways I could go on and on about the reasons it all started but why not starting coming up with solutions on how we can get it all to come to an end so we can all live peacefully and equally and without being judged for the color of our skin or where we come from or what we eat, etc.…

We have 3 branches of government because we didn’t want monarchy. The U.S. Constitution stated that the U.S. should split the power. So we split it into 3 branches so 1 branch wouldn’t get all the power. The United States of America is a democracy (an indirect democracy or republic, to be specific). The citizens of the country can attend fair elections.…

People are racist for many reasons some being widespread and some being through just personal experience. The most common reason for why people are racist is fear. People fear other people who are different and they decide to act upon it in a negative way which ends up either mentally or physically hurting the person depending on how severe the person is when insulting. Another reason would be just plain ignorance. When growing up children are exposed to racism from either media, parents, or their environment. It can affect many children and how they make decisions in life about with dealing with racism and acting on it.…

Even when everyone tries their best to be equal towards one another, people always end up being racist because of differences in ethnicities. This is shown all around the world in small and large countries especially the United States. The amount of diversity in the United States leads people to interact with others who might not necessarily be the same ethnicity as they are. This is portrayed in To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, A Raisin In the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, and other contemporary issues going on in the United States that racism is mainly caused by people thinking that their ethnicity is better than another person’s.…

    Example Of Racism Essay

As children, we were taught to treat others as we wished to be treated. We were taught to love and value one another, we were taught morals. However, as time passed, a growing hatred consumed us. We as a nation lost our empathy amongst each other and began to dehumanize our own neighbors. We as a whole began to discriminate on the basis of skin color, religion, and race. Racism is an injustice act that has been around for centuries, affecting millions of people all throughout the world, and can still be found in present day. Although I believe this to be true, there is a growing opposition that believes that racism is not an injustice but rather the reality of life. Racism is instilled in people through various influences and as a result, they have shaped…

I want to know why are there racists in this world. I especially want to know why is it 2016 and we still have race issues going on in this country. Over the past year we have seen many shooting of African Americans. It is statistically proven that African American men are more vulnerable to get treated poorly for the same crime that a white man would do. I’m not saying that the shooting was all because of race. It’s just the fact of black people are racially profiled for no reason. I don’t think it is fair that I have to be at a disadvantage and would be profiled by certain people because of my skin color instead of my…

The African American population is growing and Americans are now a mixed group of people. Black people are white people's neighbors, doctors, and friends. With a growing unity between the two races, why does racism continue? The answer is simple. Racists from many years ago raise their kids in clans and white supremacy groups and teach them the ways of hatred. These kids grow up "brain-washed" that black people are their enemies and, taught by example, will continue this trend (The Volume Library; 1988).…

Bullies? Mean people that tease you? Nobody likes those kind of people. Bullies usually have a reason behind all of their bullying. Whether its emotions or people at home it's never good to treat people like that. For example, the character ,Julian, from ,Wonder by R.J Palacio, has been developing this occurring rudeness to August Pullman the new kid at Beecher Prep middle school, from his mother who edited Auggie out of the class picture. Another example of a bully is Andy Simms from Macaroni Boy by Katherine Ayres. Andy Simms is stuck on making up lies about Michael Costa and his dadś business The Costa Brothers and where they get their food and what they put in it. Although bullies like Julian and Andy Simms are different in their ways of being mean to people they also are very similar.…

Even though people think racism is one attitude in and of itself, it can manifest in many different ways. A racist attitude can lead to brutality, prejudices, and profiling. Racism is something that never should have, and never should be tolerated. Pride in one's heritage is a basic human right that everyone deserves. Racial equality is something that today's society needs to be striving for. To accomplish this, humanity needs to more have mutual respect and empathy for each other. Maybe once this happens, there will be a more peaceful world with less darkness and…
