It becomes more difficult to decide if and what should be censored when it comes to children. Children are trying to grow up too fast anymore and when you expose them to these movies and music that can be extremely inappropriate, it can be hard to decide if they should be able to watch and listen to. In European films, you tend to see a larger number of sexual scenes. In a 2006 study, the pregnancy of teenagers 15 to 19 years old, in the United States was 71,500; in Europe, with the combination of Germany and France it was only 44,500(“Adolescent Sexual Health in Europe and the US”). With that being said, I do not believe that in movies the sex should be censored. Movies are rated with the sexual content in mind. The best way to censor something when it comes to kids is to make sure if there is supposed to be sexual content, just don’t let them watch it. In the case of verboten in movies though, I do not think it should be censored. In many movies you see completely relieved women, but it is not as often that you see a completely relieved man from the front. I’m not sure why a completely relieved women is okay but you never see a man. Maybe it is because women are only seen as sexual objects, and should not be
