Why College Education Is Important
College education why does it matter some people might ask. Well college education is very important because it helps you fulfill goals and gets you jobs/careers. People who go to college have better lives, and are able to support a family(if they choose to have one). However their are down sides to going to college such as college debt and some people are successful without going to college.

College can do a lot for some people, it can give you a career which then can support your family or just yourself. You will learn a lot from college, maybe make new friends. Every body has goals though. "Your goal can be something as simple as doing all your homework, paying attention in class, or spending some time each day reading a book." Obama proposed, pg 69. Your goals can be anything you want it to. "We can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents , the best schools in the world. None of it will matter if you don't fulfill your responsibilities." Page 67. I agree with him people can push and push but it's you that has

More and more jobs require college degrees. Jobs requiring college degrees grew by 187,000 between December 2007 and January 2010. That's a big number and it's only gonna grow bigger. College graduates are more likely to have health insurance and retirement plans. I don't know about you but I can't wait until I retire. And going to college a can help you get there. Health insurance is also a good thing to have. People who do not go to college have a higher chance of not being employed. Young people not engaged in education or training are more likely to receive welfare or commit crimes. The bad thing is the total cost of going to college also includes the cost of missing opportunities to make money at a job. cost which equals at least four years of missed wages and advancements from a full-time job--about $49,000 for a 4-year

    Pursuing a higher education by attending college can greater your chances of getting a better job. When people go for a job interview, the interviewer is looking for someone with a college education.
