It’s not just the failure of this plan, in fact, the U.S..’s armed forces were “breakdown”.A journalist declared the break down.”A certain sense of independence, a reluctance to behave according to the military's insistence on obedience, like pawns or puppets...The grunts [infantrymen] were determined to survive...they insisted of having something to say about the making of decisions that determined whether they might live or die.”4 How could a distracted troop to win a war?
