He never bothered to tell his wife, Alba, about it. She did not remain oblivious to the fact another child was in her home for long.
She had realized the little patter of feet on the marble floors and the little socks she found on the attic’s wood floors every so often. For awhile she just shrugged it off. Maybe it was Graham. After his powers manifested Alba hadn’t seen him much, but Alba knew the articles of clothing weren’t her son’s. So who did they belong to? Alba never did confront her husband about the matter.
