Why Do Curfews Keep Teens Out Of Trouble

Do you feel that a curfew keeps teenagers out of trouble, or does a curfew unfairly interfere in young people's lives? A curfew does keep teenagers out of trouble, also a curfew also keeps a teenager safe, and also makes them less likely to go outside and do bad things. Some people may disagree because with a curfew teenagers are missing out on job opportunities. Which is a true statement, but there are more negatives than positives with having no curfew. Having a curfew keeps teenagers out of trouble. When it gets dark some people want to go outside and do bad things, it is harder to see them so they are less likely to get caught. But, if they know that if they even step foot outside their home they could be arrested then they would not even want to
It is just not worth it if a teenager is planning to go outside and commit a crime, but there is a chance that the teen won't even make it to the crime spot without out getting arrested then he or she defiantly would just stay home and not do it. No one wants to have to deal with getting arrested which comes with all the fees, jail time, and court dates and things like that. So they will just stay inside. A curfew is not only here to keep teenagers out of trouble, but it's here to keep teenagers safe. At night there could be many thieves, rapist, and other criminals just lurking the streets waiting for one teenager to be caught alone. So to decrease the cases of missing teenagers, teenagers being found deceased, or teenagers getting robbed at gunpoint we should use a curfew. Criminals are less likely to strike in broad daylight where everyone can see them. Having a curfew really does keep the crimes against teenagers down; because they will be in the safety of their home, where they should be. Now some people may disagree and say that a curfew does interfere with a teenagers life and here's why. The people that disagree say that it interferes because it holds them back from jobs
