Why Do Romeo And Juliet Fight Persuasive Essay
As you know, there is an ancient and raging feud amongst the Capulets and the Montagues. They have been caught three times for fighting previously. After the last fight, you claimed you would relentlessly kill anyone who is involved with another fight. However, I think you should not punish Romeo at all because of the circumstances of the fight. Do not punish Romeo for killing Tybalt because Tybalt started the fight between himself and Romeo, Romeo did not originally want to fight Tybalt, and Romeo only killed Tybalt to avenge Mercutio’s death.

Tybalt started the fight between him and Romeo when he called Romeo a villain. As you know, calling someone a villain is highly offensive. It is a harsh thing for Tybalt to call Romeo because Romeo

    Benvolio, who wanted everyone to be friends, warned the guys not to fight in public. Insults were exchanged, but Romeo remembered that Tybalt is his new wife's cousin, so he turned the other cheek. Mercutio found this totally shocking, actually dishonorable, so he offered to fight Tybalt instead. They fought and then Romeo tried to intervene, but Tybalt suddenly stabbed Mercutio. Romeo and Benvolio assumed that Mercutio has not been badly hurt because he started joking about his damage but it was no joke. He was dying. A minute later, he died.
