Why Do Women Deserve Equal Pay
Equal Work Deserves Equal Pay! I stumbled home from work on the verge of exhaustion; I had worked for ten hours! When I opened the door, my husband had a curved smile and a check of $100 in his hand. I stared in disbelief at my check-which earned me $80. My husband and I share the same occupation and work hours. How did my husband earn more money for the same amount of work?
Women deserve equal pay to supply and care for themselves, as well as their families. Women require equal pay because women are being paid 33 cents less than every dollar a man earns; the pay being lowered more for women of color.     First, the pay that women receive is still unequal to that of their male counterparts.
