Water constitutes 60% of the body and every part of the human system needs water to work properly.
You have heard different information about the importance of water. Some people say you need to drink water first thing in the morning and drink at least eight glasses of water every day.
It begs the question: How much water should I drink?
The NHS says six to eight glasses per day is still best. This however does not mean that it must be water alone. The body can get fluid from intake of beverages, food and fruits.
What is important is to get enough fluid in the body or face the consequences of dehydration.

Headache
Dehydration leads to loss of fluid in the brain tissues leading to a shrinking of the brain. When this occurs, the brain signals the pain receptors and you get headache.
As in fatigue, the decrease of blood volume reduces blood and oxygen supply to the brain. The brain then attempts to kept the blood flowing which may cause temporary inflammation and migraine.
This is why mothers and caregivers give water as first aid to children when they complain of headaches. So next time, you have a bursting pain in your head, try water.
Low Amount of Urine that is Dark Yellow
Urine is another major indicator of dehydration because humans lose lots of fluid through urinating. The kidney is a major organ in the process of eliminating waste from the body and uses water to moves these toxins.
When dehydrated, the kidney conserves water and allows only most of the toxins to pass out of the body. When there is a strong concentration of waste and toxins in the urine, it comes out in dark yellow.
If hydrated, your urine should be a clear, pale yellow with less
