As children we all had our experiences in drawing something. Am I right? Whether if it’s painting a picture, drawing doodles, or even scribbling on a piece a paper with a pen or crayon. Drawing is an art or technique of producing images on a surface, usually on paper, by means of marks in graphite, ink, chalk, charcoal, or crayon. As told in the Encyclopedia Britannica 2006.
In kindergarten you could probably remember finger painting; wasn't it fun? I think it was. Everywhere we go we always see pictures and drawings by different people. When I was young my mother will always buy me different coloring books and give me crayons so I can learn how to color. As I grew older my drawing skills expand. In elementary up to this present time I’ve always been in art classes. The art classes that I have help me to be a better artist. It gives me a new sense of drawing skills and experience different styles of art. When I am in one of my moods I draw. If I’m sad I draw a sad picture, if I’m mad I draw a mad picture. Get It? Drawing gives me the ability to make my own ideas.
Every time I draw my mother always say what a wonderful artist I am and it’s a gift from God that I have. She knows I’m a good artist and she always believes in me. She wants me to do well in life. She always tell me if I love to draw and I put my mind to it I can be successful and do anything that is possible. My mother always pushes me to the next level so I can gain my drawing skills.
Drawing is special to me because it allows me to express and show my creativity in my own way. Right now I’m taking advance art classes so I gain more skills when drawing so I can be better and be a successful artist when I go off to college. I am very artistic and I show pride in my work. Drawing allows me to show my true self so I can bring out art skills because I know I can do it. I am very talented and always try to push my skills to the highest level so I can learn new things.
