Why Homework Is Important Essay
just imagine yourself sitting in a classroom full of people all doing an essay in class. as the clock keeps ticking, people keep leaving until eventually there are only ten people in a class and 15 minutes remainding. Your stress level starts increasing and you start worrying more. the thing is, stress builds up gradually when you have more things to do. Moraine Valley does a great job of separating class hours however, there has been a lot controversies about Final taking.I believe that Com Finals should not be given in class due to the following reasons. Not only is it stressful to the individual, but it is also puts a lot of pressure knowing that your classmates are done. i believe essays should be done at home within a 24 hour period.

you don't concentrate anymore. you are more focused on finishing than actually putting effort into your own work because you see everyone leaving. it goes to the point where all the door slamming makes you lose concentration and forget some of the brilliant ideas you had.
my 2nd reason why we shouldn't have to do a final inside the classroom is because at home you get to brainstorm your ideas and concentrate even more. think about it. when you're at home you can pick the quietest place in the house an and just start writing your paper. you get to think about the topic and get to switch your old ideas to even better ideas. if you somehow manage to mess up on one paragraph you won't be under so much stress because you still have time to delete and come out with a different idea.
so how should students be given a test for com 101 to show that they have mastered the way of writing? i have created a proposal. i believe essays should be done at home within a 24 hour period. it not only gives the student time to brain storms, but it also helps them focus on what they want to write about more vividly. they are able to write an essay, brainstorm ideas, and have less stress since they don't have anyone distracting them when they are turning in their paper like they would in a classroom
