Why I Attend College

When asked why I am enrolled in a college education, there are a variety of things that come to my mind. There are the things like getting paid more, and because everyone else is doing it come to mind, but I came to college for many other reasons. Three of the reasons of why I am here include: Making new, lifelong friendships, gaining lifetime opportunities, and finding my purpose in life.
Everyone needs a support system and great friends. College is giving me the opportunity to make new friends that I will have for my lifetime. It is giving me the opportunity to build my support system and also expanding my network for my life in the future. By making friends I will gain connections for future jobs and social aspects of life. College can open up a door of opportunity. It will give me a chance to be more successful by giving me more of a choice to the jobs that are available and it may even give me higher ranking in the job that I choose. By coming to college, I am given a time where I can define what my purpose is in life. It will help me decide what I want to be and what I want to give back to the world. It does this by showing me what jobs are available
When all is said and done I will have gained intellectual skills like writing, which I will need in order to get and keep a job. I will have also gained the ability to do essential and logical things like math or reading music. I will also be able to give back to American society by gaining responsibility and having the knowledge to be a beneficial citizen. By putting all of these things together I will be a person that has intellectual and practical skills. I will be able to understand, comprehend, and reason about things. I will also be able to better communicate with the world by having knowledge of other cultures and of the natural and physical world. All of these attributes are crucial in a
