Why I Chose Medical School

The Future is always shifting in ways we cannot comprehend. The only action we can take is set a path for ourselves and hope to influence that future. In 10 years I hope to be living in a smaller city with my girlfriend and a kid. I would like to be finished with medical school and my residency and be working in a local hospital. However becoming a doctor is never the easy path. I still need to finish my Medical school application as well as take my MCAT exam. I will need to study very hard because the exam has been changed.to a significantly more difficult format. I most likely will not get into medical school this year because I am applying a year early. Depending on my acceptance to Medical school I may have to attend graduate school and work for a masters in a biology field. With my masters I will then apply to Medical school again. The main thing to keep in mind when becoming a doctor is the ability to persevere.
I’m going to be going through medical school and that puts enormous strain on relationships. I want nothing more to be with her forever but I fear that my stress will be too much for us but I am determined to make it work. I will marry her and I will make her happy. Those are the two most important things to me. Success without her would be pointless. I hope more than anything she will be with me at the end of the road in 10 years. I hope to have a few kids and possibly adopt more. Toni is such a loving person and has slowly opened my heart to the idea of adoption and it has become more and more of something I really want to do. To accomplish this I need to make sure I keep her at the forefront of my mind and make sure she is loved every single day even when I’m stressed. There will be long nights and hard days for us but if I can just remind myself how important she is to me every day then I should be able to make everything work out for the
