In my current job role I run a team of delivery assistants and am required to sort through deliveries; check correct deliveries have arrived and to do high value counts, along with maintaining an organised stockroom and recommending any resource purchases needed. In addition I am required to lift and carry heavy goods within the stockroom while complying with the manual handling procedures. After the shop has closed I act as a Duty manager and key holder who is responsible for the staff and security of the shop. My current position of responsibility means that I need to communicate with a team of staff from three different departments, ensuring that adequate training is given, along with jobs being completed to a high standard. Similarly, I am often called upon to assist colleagues with customers and their IT problems e.g. Laptops setup in the wrong language and resetting back to factory settings.

It has also greatly developed my ability to prioritise my workload because I had to ensure the most important areas were addressed first, while still allowing time for the remaining tasks to be
