Business Writing: Cover Letters
Now, it is time for you to use your knowledge of formal language and writing to solicit a desired outcome of your own—a job! You are going to write a cover letter to a potential employer in regards to a job in which you are interested. A cover letter is a document sent with a résumé to highlight unique skills and qualifications and to express interest in a position.
The letter should be three to five paragraphs and include the following: proper business headings, greetings, and salutations your reasons for wanting the job examples of how you are qualified for the job reasons for selecting this particular company use of proper grammar, syntax, semantics, and all language conventions

Daiso has always been a regular store I shop at relatively for its quality goods at reasonable prices. Thus I though it would be a great option if I had the opportunity to work at a Daiso branch store. I have experience as a cashier at a restaurant I worked at for three years. I am also acquainted with the manners of proper customer service as I have noticed the emphasis on quality customer service exhibited at Daiso, especially the Hacienda Heights branch.
I believe by working at a place I am interested in, I will be able to give my fullest as well provide the best customer service. Further I am willing to learn any new skill required for this job position.
