Getting dressed for a soccer game makes me happy because it means that a soccer game is soon! I love the feeling of wearing my jersey and the softness of it on my skin. I love putting on my cleats, and the sound they make when I walk on a hard surface. Secondly, I love going to practice. Practice is a time when I can really express who I am. I can try different techniques, practice certain tactics, and just have fun a boisterous time playing around with the ball. The more touches I get on the ball, the better of a player I become, which is the ultimate goal. I love soccer practice because there are no rules about what you can and cannot do. Practice is not just fun and games, however. Practice is a time to prepare for the game ahead. Lots of hard work and dedication go into practicing. I have to really push myself so that I am sure positive that I am the best I can be for the game. I enjoy pushing myself. He really wants my teammates and I to be awesome marvelous soccer players. In order to make my teammates and I the best players we can be, he pushes us, trains us well every practice. I appreciate this because when it comes to game time, I am ready for any competition. I love the feeling of being better than my opponents because I love the thrill of blowing past players and being better than them. This is a result of hard work and dedication during practice. It makes me appreciate my coach and how he pushes my team so that when it comes to games we are ready. Secondly, a coach is needed in the game of soccer because they are the ones that tell you what you are doing well, and what you need to work on. This is important because in order to be an amazing player and continue playing the game you love, you need to know what your weaknesses are and work on them. My coach currently is really good at telling my teammates and I what we need to work on. This really improves me as a player because I know what to work on, so that I can be an even better player.
