Why I Love The Giants
If I hand a ticket in my hand that would open up many windows for things I could do. It is giving me a choice of what I want, and what I want to discover. I would choose to go to San Francisco, California. I have always wanted to go their and see what the city is like. My favorite team, the Giants, are there and I would go what them play a baseball game. The Giants ballpark has always been an amazing park. It has such a beautiful field with the bullpens in foul territory. I love the glove and the coke can the are out in left center. If I could just get the chance to hit BP on the field then it would make my dream. Being able to meet the players would be something cool too. There have been so many legends that have gone through the Giants organization that I wish I …show more content…
The reason I like the Giants is because I used to live in Sacramento and everyone liked the Angles but I wanted to rut for the Giants, and I like the colors orange and black. It is just like Oregon State, which was my favorite college team growing up. I would like to see them play the Dodgers. Giants and Dodgers have been rivals ever since the teams were made. I love to see the action on and off the field between the players and the fans. The dodgers also have a lot of elite players that are fun to watch like Klayton Kershaw, Yasiel Puig, and Cory Seager. Great players always bring the show and that is why it is so fun to watch them. They always hit it out of the park and gets the fans all excited. That is one of my favorite parts of going to a baseball game. After the game I over I will go and try to get some of the Giants players autographs. I would use a baseball and a sharpie, it usually gets the job done good. It is very hard to get an autograph at a major league baseball game so if I can not do it then I will go and find a good seafood restaurant to eat at. Since San Francisco is on the water it does have some good

I was immediately drawn to the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. Everything about the team fascinated me; the uniforms, the players, the stadium, and just the history surrounding the entire organization. I followed everything about the team from probably the middle of July all the way to the postseason in October. I’ll never forget the devastation I felt watching them get eliminated from the postseason in Game 5 of the NLCS by the Philadelphia Phillies, even though I had only been watching for around 3-4 months.…

The New York Giants are a professional football team, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Giants have been around since 1925, and have become a well-known organization and one that other teams look to emulate. The Giants play their home games at MetLife Stadium which was just built in 2010. The Giants are a part of my life, everyday conversation, looking up breaking news, who they are interested in taking in this year’s draft. It’s something I can share with my Dad, a fellow Giants fan, and many of my close friends. This team keeps us talking for hours as if we were on the field or in the locker room with them. There’s nothing better than waiting around all week to watch this team play on Sunday’s.…

There has been much debate over which sports team is the most successful in the United States. Many teams have had their moment in the spotlight. They rise in popularity only to plummet the following year. Right now the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants are the talk of the entire sports world, but give it a few months and everyone outside of the New York Metropolitan area will forget who even won the game. That is how it is with most champions in professional sports. Fewer than 20 percent of Americans know that the Mavericks are the reigning professional basketball champions or that the Cardinals won the most recent World Series. Though these teams have had great success their fan base is mostly local. They have not established a national following. Over the past 50 years the Dallas Cowboys have used a great winning tradition, slick marketing, and modern merchandising techniques to establish themselves as “America’s Team.”…

The triple A affiliation of the St Louis Cardinals. Baseball was Americas Past time, and some say the greatest game. I just happened to have season tickets there, so I got to watch a lot of baseball there. My tickets were three rows behind home plate, so I got to the see the players up close and personal, often times hearing there conversations in the dugout. The seats gave the game a more competitive edge because you really had an eye on the strike zone. You could debate the calls yourself; it gave me a more “into it” feeling. Most seasons I would not miss a home game, just because there was nothing to do at home. A quick forty five minute drive ad me sitting in my seats watching the game. Some of the MLB’s greatest have been through there, and I got witness every one of them. The ballpark included a bunch of games for kids, and a play ground out in left…

My favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles. I have liked this team since I was a little kid, and I have a ton of eagles gear in my room. My walls are green for 2 reasons. The first reason is my favorite color is green but the second reason is for the eagles because their team color is green. There are many seasons that this team is atrocious and trash but I have stuck with them for 11 years now. I also know about their past and the great players that they had. I follow their Instagram and get all the recent news from there. This team makes me so mad because they don’t win much, but I am surprisingly still able to put up with the bad players and the bad coaches we have had. The Philadelphia Eagles are my favorite football team and it…

Going to a game in Fenway is a smorgasbord of delightful feelings. Even the walk up to the ballpark is some thing to behold. Walking with hundreds of passionate fans, all decked out in their red sox T-shirts, jerseys, and of coarse that iconic navy hat with the red B on it. I feel like I belong there with this organized group of strangers. There is such a since of family as I see people from the “T” car I was on and chatted with. A few hundred yards ahead I could hear a “Lets Go Red Sox” chant as people around me began to join in it became more enticing to do so myself. After all this was my team, our team, and this was our year! That was the constant attitude of a Sox fan. Just as the team would look like they were primed to make a push for the World Series they would lose in heartbreaking fashion and mostly to the hands of the damn Yankees.…

“GET HOME!!! GET HOME!!!” Those were the words my dad would yell from the third base coach’s box as I passed him rounding third! Baseball to me is more than just a game! Baseball is a passion, fueled by the desire to succeed, the passion to overcome, and the dedication to be great. A baseball field to me is like a stage is to a dancer or an open road for a biker; I just love every aspect of this amazing sport. It’s the field with its seemingly unfair depth, its soft green grass and the infamous red dirt, that make me have the passion for the game like my father did as a child. My life seemed to be limitless when I was in between that fence. Taking cuts on the tee, putting together a pickup game that didn’t matter who won or lost, or even on those days that practice seemed to never end, I still had the love for the game.…
