Why I Want A College Education Essay

A college education brings success to those that earn it. It takes many years of hard work and dedication. I want a college education to have better opportunities, be able to have the career I want, and to feel accomplished and proud of myself. A college education is a great way to brighten one’s future. It opens up new doors and that is what makes it exciting. When I get a college education it will be the greatest achievement of my life. A college education provides many opportunities. It will introduce me to a new and exciting world. I want to receive a college education from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The academy will provide many opportunities such as traveling. The most exciting part about wanting a college education is being able to travel, especially from something I have been waiting for, for a long time. I have come a long way from where I have started. At first, I never knew why I wanted a college education it was not something I was ever interested in. Now I have goals that I want to accomplish. I want a college education for me and my family. I want to be the first female in my family to attend and graduate from USAFA. I know that my family will be proud of me for doing anything that I can succeed in but having a college education will be the extra push for me to feel accomplished. There are few things that I have ever felt accomplished about. I am very determined to achieve anything that is thrown my way. I never give up on anything because to me nothing is impossible.
