Why I Want To Attend College

In life today, College is no longer an option or privilege, but it is a necessity. Attending college has always been something that I have aspired to do. Attending college provides you with an opportunity to acquire a successful job and it is also a great learning experience. At first, I was skeptical of going to college because I felt that it was a waste of time and money. Now that I am in college, my whole point of view changed. Since starting college, I feel more responsible and mature. People have their own reasons of going to college. Although I was skeptical of attending college, I am going to college to make friends, job opportunities, and a better future.
Making new friends have been a dream of mine. I had tons of friends in middle school, but
College is the first step to achieving my dream. I do not want to live my life working paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about whether I am going to have enough money to pay my bills. I am so thankful that I am getting the opportunity to better myself. I am the first one in my family to go to college. Currently, I am a student at the College of Southern Maryland. My future plan is graduating with sixty credits and transferring to Bowie and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies. I will achieve this goal by keeping my grades up because I know that will help me get into my dream school. After I get my bachelor’s, I plan on getting a job working in the entertainment field or working for a big social media company. Outside of my job, I plan to buy a big house or live in a condo in the city. As you can see, I have a lot of reasons for why I’m attending college. Going college is not the best, it will help me out a lot. I think it is important to go to college not just to study but also to gain some experience and to get a good paying job. I plan to make something of myself, and not to give up. Failure is one of my biggest fears, but I will not let that get to
