head after graduating high school. By always communicating how important school is my daughter will have a better chance of furthering her education, and have the security she will need later in her life. Next, I want to be able to get a better and more stable job for the future.
Almost 12 years after I decided to not go to college and work for my family’s business, it ended up closing because of the all the ups and downs of the economy. I found myself without a job and collecting unemployment. I quickly realized the struggles with trying to find a good job without a college education. Since my family’s business closed I have had 2 different jobs in a 6 month timespan. I finally realized that I need to go to college and get my degree. I want to be able to enhance my financial support for my family to achieve our goals for the future. By establishing a new and exciting career I will earn and receive the benefits of a good job. I will also receive better pay to provide my family with the security that I feel we need and
deserve. My final reason for my decision to go to college is to further and improve my own education. I also want to be able to improve myself within the knowledge of a new career. Furthering my education will fulfill my need to learn and achieve the knowledge about the things that interest me the most. It will also supply me with the feeling to be more comfortable with future situations, and give me the knowledge and confidence to work under demanding pressures of everyday life. In conclusion to my decision to go to college, I believe it will make my whole family proud of me and help me become a better role model for my daughter. Also it will help me to get a better and more stable job for the future, and further my education to improve my own personal well-being. These are only a few but most important reasons why I decided to go to college at this point in my life. Being 31 and just starting college now, I have realized that it is better late than never.
