With being flight commander I would also learn how to effectively motivate my team to be the best. If I were flight commander I would expect my organization skills to increase drastically as well. I would constantly have information coming to you, either up the chain of command or down. We have a mentor program and I have been looking to get involved in it. I think that joining in the mentoring program I will learn how to communicate better on a personal level. I will be responsible for that one or maybe two scholars, and help them out with any questions they have. I will have to constantly check in with them to make sure that everything is going well, and if its not either myself will help them or I will get them to the right people. Having the role of a mentor my skills of working with someone one on one are sure to increase my communication
