My career choice is being a speech pathologist. A speech pathologist’s purpose doesn’t necessarily fall into music but it can be linked with music. It does have some musical aspects. A speech pathologist can also work with a music therapist in a Pediatric rehabilitation setting. Speech pathologists deal with your communication skills in order to improve your speech ailments

A speech pathologist is some who works with people who have speech problems that affect their communication skills in their everyday life.

Examples of cyber communication are texting, phone calls, emails and many more.
There are certain factors that fall into verbal communication like body language.
Examples of body language would be fidgeting with your fingers while your frustrated waiting to be picked up.
Or shaky hands when you’re nervous or scared.
Another factor of verbal communication is appearance such as facial expressions, clenching of the fists or redness of the face.
There are also unseen factors, which are factors that aren’t very visible, but you can identify them by using one of your senses, feeling or listening closely.
These factors are breathing rate, heart rate, speech rate, pitch and tone.
For example if someone was frustrated his or her speech and breathing rate would increase and the pitch of his or her voice would be higher.
A speech pathologist deals with patients who are hearing impaired due to being in a car accidents or strokes. Other patients are born with speech ailments like children. Most children are born with speech issues and they have to be

The Pathologists assist and encourage them to use their voices efficiently and to the best of their abilities. Not only do they help them improve their communication skills and speech, they also increase their self-esteem levels. They give hope to someone who is speech impaired due to an accident that they will at least have one normal aspect to their life and that s gaining back their communication and speech skills. They also tend to speak up more and improve their social skills because they wouldn’t have to be insecure about saying words incorrectly.
When we look at the treatment the patients receive, they are all different.
Each treatment is molded and fixed to the skills they lack in. Speech Pathologist’s jobs are associated with music because they use singing, sing-alongs and other musical techniques to help improve patient’s speck ailments.
One of the most easiest places to find a job opportunity as a speech pathologist is at a public school, hospitals, hearing centers and clinics.
It is much harder to make it as a speech pathologist as a private
