The United States Is A Great Country

Overall, The United States of America is great, not only in comparison to other countries, but on its own as well. The United States of America’s various amounts of privileges, rights, and opportunities that are given to the citizens of this country, proves that The United States is a great nation.
The first, second, and fifth amendments, just to name a few, are prime examples that show what America has assured to the citizens of this country. In America you have the freedom of expression, the privilege to bear arms, and the right to due process. Many other countries around the world do not have the freedom to fulfill these rights. Not to mention, the opportunity for economic success, higher education, and business is among the highest in the world, according to The Legatum Prosperity Index.

We have one of the highest ranked education systems in the world, thus, opening the doors to thousands of careers or professions, one specifically being an entrepreneur. Jeff Bezos is a prime example, he is the richest man in the world and started a major company that distributes various products across the globe. Furthermore, Amazon also helps out small businesses and helps to create jobs for the American people. In fact, (Schneider, Laura) “every dollar invested by Amazon in Seattle generated an additional $1.40 for the city’s economy overall.” That alone is just one of many resources helping our economy.
