Cheerleading jumps range from simple, quick jumps to complicated, vigorous ones. In the cheer world there are a variety of jumps with different names, but are all executed in the same way. One of the most common jumps is called a “toe touch.” It is fairly easy to learn and perform, arms are simply in a "T" motion and legs are in a “V” position, with knees pointing toward the sky and hips are rotated to make your jumps higher. In cheer learning a dance is not as easy as it looks, it takes a lot of time, energy, and remembrance. When at competition teams are judged on a number of criteria like showmanship, precision of motions, jumps, choreography, and enthusiasm. Similar to a football game when each player on the field is evaluated by a scout to see how talented they are. They also evaluate them on skill, how smart they run their plays, teamwork, and character.
