One of the reasons he was, and still is the king of rock and roll is because of the way he presented himself, the way that he would step on stage and perform. Elvis was known for moving his hips and dancing in a very unique way. This called attention to people all over the world. As he stepped into being on the radio he caught everyone off guard. The reason for this confusion was people didn’t know if it was music for the black community or music for the white community. His music was a mix of country, gospel and R&B, people didn’t know what his race was. They enjoyed listening to him anyway. This wasn’t very common in these days either because they had music for both races separately. After finding out that Elvis was white, it still didn’t matter to the people and they continued to enjoy his music as he grew in the music
