I. Stealing is unethical no matter what are reasons for it
A. As you would teach a child the ethic of reciprocity “ One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself ”
B. Stealing an item is not a correct choice instead of stealing you should purchase the item.
II. The criminal law stealing is theft.
A. The definition of theft is when an individual deliberately and counterfeit takes a person property without a consent. There are two types theft “petty theft” is when the item is less than 500 and “grand theft” example is car (Legal Dictionary). The main reason why an individual steal is for the money. Because they can sell the items they stole in the black market. During the holiday times are the best time for the thief’s to steal. Because the stores are busy, and little supervision.

In the winter months cold medicines cost is around 6 dollars. They can sell those items 3 or 4 dollars.
2. An individual can steal 50-100 items each time. Because, these items are little and it is easy conceal. This people are professionals.
3. In the end everyone pays for it. The price of items goes up. The stores close down in some cases the employees who work there loses their job.
III. When you works so hard to purchase item and someone steal it from you they stole more than just item also, your hard work.
1. People who have spent many hours working and saving to purchase an item that is cherished and valuable.
2. Stealing should never be an option. When you can work hard to purchase the item
yourself.
IV. There is never a good excuse to steal. There is always an alternative options seeking for assistance. From family or government.
1. Each state has programs that can help individual get job, pay bills, and rent assistance and supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program better known as food stamps.
2. It is always better seek this type help on temporary basis than steel.
V. Kant would agree that stealing was wrong no matter reasons for it.
1. “Be honest dealing with others.” This shows Kant feels that you have to be honest people and do not lie or steal (Beck, 2011).
2. “Treat all people with respect. The saying means that treat others the way you would want to be treated. This means Kant agrees stealing is bad because you would not want no one steal from you (Beck, 2011).
VI. Conclusion
A. Stealing is always unethical no matter what are reasons for it. No one should think that stealing is the way out or think that their only way out of certain situation is stealing. There is always a different route one can use to avoid stealing. Such as seeking help from family, friends, and government help to get the problem solved. Kant and categories of principle one of the rules is “Do not steal.” Kant would agree stealing is not the way out.
