Third the Second Amendment is important because during the revolutionary war each colony had a militia which gave them the right to bear arms. One reason this amendment was included in the Bill of Rights was to let people bear arms to protect themselves or to go hunting. The Second Amendment protects the people by giving people the right to defend their properties or them selves.
Fourth the Second Amendment is used in many
ways. One way is in letting law enforcement agencies carry weapons. Another example of the Second Amendment is letting people own hunting licences and licences to carry guns in their car depending on the state a person lives in.
In conclusion these are the reasons on why the Second Amendment is still important in the Bill of Rights and in the U.S Constitution today as one of many rights of a U.S citizen.
