you must be citizen. Some of these law are about the age you may buy a firearm. In federal law that you may be 18 to buy a long rifle and 21 to buy a handgun. A long rifle is a gun that is fired from the shoulder and fires a single bullet with every pull of the trigger. Handguns are anything that can be fired out of the hand. Federal law also forbids you from having a gun on school grounds and over government buildings. In most state you are required to have carrying permits. Some states actually have open carry laws. These laws allowed you to carry a gun in plain view. We have all these laws and rules involved with guns and people want more and more laws. For years people have use firearms to protect their family and livestock.
Hunters have use guns for food and sport. Guns have been serving us for 653 years. This may be a lot but they have adopted over the years. They have became faster and more powerful. Also they have become big. The military and police have use guns a tool to protect our streets and freedoms from foreign and domestic threats. The military have use many guns over the years. Police have also have use many firearms. “Overall crime rates in 2016 are projected to be nearly the same as last year, with crime remaining at an all-time low, according to a new Brennan Center analysis.” crimes rates have been up and down over the years but the police have kept the peace and try to protect everyone from crime. “According to the National Crime Victimization Survey, 467,321 persons were victims of a crime committed with a firearm in 2011. In the same year, data collected by the FBI show that firearms were used in 68 percent of murders, 41 percent of robbery offenses and 21 percent of aggravated assaults nationwide.” I know that it might look like a lot but it's really not a lot. A lot of crimes are not report because of fear or other reason. The problem is that criminals get guns on the streets. It’s hard for police to do their jobs when criminals are doing this on the streets. I do not know what i would do in their shoes but i do believe that police will confront this head on. The crime rates will play an important fact in the next five years in gun safety and laws. But we need to look back and think that guns are a tool that we use in everyday life. This has been true for many years and will go on for many many more years. I think this will play a major role in political if they would realize that people kill people and not guns kill people. I say that because someone has to pull the trigger and load the gun. I believe that guns are a major put in my safety and is in my life. I hope some others will
realize this one today. Currently there are many ways in which someone can obtain a gun. You can buy guns at department stores, guns shop, person to person, and many others. As a citizen of the United States, the freedom to own a gun is part of our constitution and should remain so.
