a. Why is unification so integral and important in the development in the earliest dynasty in China? The land of the Chinese was so vast even before that states are far from being friendly with each other due to many differences in many states in language and in culture. China was not unified until the Qin dynasty, which was a short period but managed to unify the different states. The unification brought the military power of the Qin dynasty to a much higher level. This means that the power of the previously warring states are all combined when China was unified giving it a much mightier and stronger army than the Qin dynasty had before. Also, the unification meant the expansion of the resources the dynasty could utilize. Instead of only having the resources from its own state, Qin can have trades with other states without ever worrying about war or anything. Unification also meant allies. But due to the fact that every one of us has an innate wanting of a better life for ourselves, especially when you have the power to get what you want when you’re in a higher position, the government is far from being “for the people” but “for themselves”. This I believe is the biggest factor in why our country, has the littlest chance of being united. In
