Why Seatbelt Should Be Worn

Each day individuals makes decisions. From what color pants and shirt he is going to dress in to the color shoes and how he styles his hair. These decisions are not the choice between life and death. One very important decision one should make each day is to click a seatbelt everytime they get in a vehicle. Wearing a seatbelt can increase chances of survival and one’s safety in a car accident. Who is willing to risk their life by not wearing a seatbelt? Is it really worth it? The main purpose of a seatbelt is to reduce the risk of deaths in car accidents. However, some people feel that wearing a seatbelt is a personal choice. Across America seat belt laws are mandatory. These laws were put in place to prevent fatalities in car accidents and protect drivers and their passengers. Therefore choosing to not wear a seatbelt is the wrong decision.
