For examples some professional athletes who plays knows that they are getting pay so they won’t try as hard as college athlete who aren’t getting pay at all. “people think oh, you’re on scholarship. They pay for your room and board, they pay for your education, but to their knowledge, you’re there to play football. You’re not on scholarship for school and it sounds crazy when a student-athlete says that but that’s those are the things coaches tell them every day”- Richard Sherman (Volk) Even Richard Sherman who is a cornerback from the Seahawks use to play for NCAA Football team knows how it felt playing while not getting pay. This shows how they treat their own players badly. When you’re a college athlete you don’t have kind of time for yourself. You must go to class after class then you might try to get a quick bite if you have time. Afterward, you must go straight to practices which takes hours then when you get home your tired and you still must do your homework from school. College athletes have a lot on their plates and they should be rewarded with little cash as much as the professional players in the NBA, NFL, etc. It’s also important to note that college athletes are not only part of a sports team they are also part of the college advertising team. By that I mean that the NAA or the college they go to use them a lot to advertise their games or make games out of them like EA sports. Both EA Sport and NCAA win huge profit from the athlete from those advertising and yet they don’t see how hard those college athletes are working as hard as the professional
