Why Should Schools Have Vegan/Vegetarian Meals?
The reason that most people believe that schools should have vegan/vegetarian meals is because there are more vegans/vegetarians in schools now. Another downside of schools, mostly, only have meat is unhealthy because of the fats in meat and sometimes meat isn’t cooked fully.
Veganism/vegetarianism is actually healthier than just eating meat. Most meat-eaters say that you can still eat junk food when you’re a vegetarian, but that is the reason that you can become a vegan. Veganism/vegetarianism can burn 16% of your calories because of what your food consists of.
The meat will make you sick because of pink meat, but the only vegetable that will make you sick would be a potato. Pink meat can include all the meats, but a potato is a single food.

I’m interested in this recommendation because it’s an argumentative recommendation which raises a controversy and my deeply thinking about whether it can be done or not. It seems to be an irresistible trend for people who care about environment and recycle; they try to cut down the times of eating meat from animals and save water at the same time. In addition, the obesity rates also goes up year by year and that’s why many nutritionist and doctors advise people eating more natural food rather than animals’ meat. From the point of view of nutrition, it’s a good question to be discussed too. And since modern people pay more attention to a healthy diet, the trend of eating less meat is also becoming an upward tendency. Some people indeed think they can gain enough from vegetables and fruits. I think for this recommendation, people should consider both pros and cons in order to get a comprehensive…

Some students ask why the government can not just make the food they have now healthier and keep the same…

In Margaret Lundberg's short story "Eating green" she has a theory about the planet becoming a healthier place to live if everyone became a vegetarian, which I believe is true. Lundberg talks about her childhood and how right off the bat her mother had her eating healthy food and that pretty much stuck with her through out her whole life. "We had two vegetables with every meal, ate plain yogurt for breakfast, and excercised with jack LaLanne." If most families started off like that it would be easier for kids to enjoy eating healthier food now instead of them liking junk food. Most people do not realize that what they eat does effect the planet and how we live on a daily basis and how badly it effects our health.…
