of those arrests were for marijuana possession alone. Less than 20% was for the sale or manufacture of a drug” (The House I Live In) . Prisoners get treated like slaves and when they work they barely get any money. Some prisoners don’t even get paid for working. “ Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves “. All those prisoners that have are forced to work get no money, and get treated as slaves. In conclusion these prisoners are also people and don’t deserve to be treated this way, The prison system should make a change “ The last important thing is when prisoners are finished serving time they don’t have many options. “ I try to tell people, ‘ Listen, I made a mistake. I was young, and I’m sorry. Please give me a chance ‘“. They deserve a chance to get a job and start a new life but since they were in jail they don’t get to have that because they’re “ A Criminal “. 1 in every 8 employees work for a corrections agency ( The House I Live In ). In conclusion all these prisoners should get a chance of having a new life after serving time. The prison system should make a change as soon as
possible.
