Everyday in America about 30 people die because of people who drive and are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. One day a person went out to a party and he had a lot to drink. His friends told him they would drive him home, but he decided he would drive himself. He was driving, but he couldn't see the road, he was rubbing his eyes when all the sudden he heard a loud crash. He had passed the to the opposite lane. The other driver was severely hurt. People who get caught driving drunk should lose their licence for a year because a year is long enough, people still drive with a suspended licence, and some people should get punished and some should not.

People think drunk drivers should not only lose their licence but their car, that way they can not drive at all. Others think that people will still break the rules no matter how much they get punished.
