At the beginning of the semester I set out to make goals that would help me get stronger and healthier.
2. What did you do to achieve this?
To achieve my goals I had do exercises and workout everyday so I could get my body in shape to reach my goals.
3. Why were you successful or unsuccessful?’
I was successful because I never gave up and kept on working hard. I also never gave up no matter how hard it was.
4. What did you find hard, new, or difficult, about the process?
When we first started to do the 15 minute run I found it very hard to run for 15 minutes without stopping because I got cramps as I didn’t have a lot of stamina. The pushups were very hard too as I never really did pushups before this class …show more content…
How did you feel about setting, controlling and monitoring your fitness?
To be honest, at first I thought that there was no point cause I thought I was fit enough and I didn’t need to get stronger but after the last test I seen that I improved my so much and because I pushed myself and kept on working for it I became even more stronger.
6. How were you encouraged/supported or blocked/discouraged in your quest for improving your fitness?
I wouldn’t have reached my goals if he wasn’t my friends and my amazing teacher. All these people encouraged me and supported me through my journey to reaching my goals, my friends cheered me on even when I was dying ion the beep test or the 15 minute run. They never gave up on me and believed in me every day. My teacher Mrs. King also always was so happy for me and she always had a smile on her face and encouraged me to keep on going.
7. What did you learn about yourself? Are you self-motivated or do you need to be pushed?
I learned that I can’t just do 40 pushups in one day and that you have to repeat it and work on it over and over it again to improve something. I’m still not sure if I'm self-motivated or if I need to be pushed because I can motivate myself but when someone pushes me it sure does
