The work schedule is a full time job. Wildlife Biologists may work irregular long hours on the job. If working with nocturnal animals they may have to work at night. (occupation outlook handbook) There are not very many health hazards that go along with this occupation, although there are a few like having to stay in remote places like mountains, woodlands. They may have to encounter the animals firsthand. Being a wildlife biologist you may get emotionally demanding because interpersonal contact can be limited.
