William Bruce Cameron A Dog's Purpose
A dog’s purpose is written by William Bruce Cameron. It’s about a dog who goes through reincarnation as different dogs and wonders what his/her purpose is in life. My favorite part in the story is when he reincarnates and begin a new chapter of his life again because it’s impressive how he remembers people and events in her/his past event as he reincarnates and moves to his/her next life.
This story is very heartwarming that I want to keep reading it over and over again

Nearly every chapter has its share of new life, whether it is as clear as a litter of kittens being born or a little cloudier such as Haven and Robert Peck preparing a new home for Pinky at the start of her life with the Peck family. Each situation had a similar meaning that was just expressed in different ways. However, they all contributed in molding Robert’s personality and skills. For example, in chapter one of the novel, just as Apron’s calf had been brought into the world, Robert thought to himself, “I figured something either got dead or got…

Danny learns that if a competitor wins, it is one mark that proves to the first owner of an Irish setter that they succeeded. This puts Danny to thinking about dog shows, Irish setters, and mainly Red.…

In Chapter one, the narrator vividly relates his mother's death to the audience, explaining the reasoning behind this amount of detail with the statement, "Your memory is a monster; you forget- it doesn't." The author meticulously records every sensory stimulus he received in the moments leading up to and following his mother's death; demonstrating how this event dramatically altered the course of his young life. Another example of the detailed memory the narrator recounts in this portion of the novel is seen in the passage, "Later, I would remember everything. In revisiting the scene of my…

It is amazing, ridiculous, and sometimes scary how the brain deals with trauma. It is also ludicrous to believe that your environment and how you are treated are not always believed to strongly affect children. The first story in this book is a very moving one. I thought it interesting and appropriate that that was his first child patient.…
