According to the washingtons the five myths about women in combat are, women are too emotionally fragile for combat, women are too physically weak for the battlefield,the presence of women causes sexual tension in training and battle, male troops will become distracted from their missions in order to protect female comrades and women can’t lead men in combat effectively(in text citation). Women are too emotionally fragile for combat. The marine corps go through the same training for men and women. They do not segregated by gender and they don't exclude women for any activity. All the women in combat shoot, exercise, plan battles the same way men do. A average man has more upper-body strength than the average
