When you have emotion, the audience connects to how you feel as your character, which will entertain the audience. Emotion also helps you tell the story. The audience will understand the story better if you have emotion. You can channel nervousness into energy and also channel emotion into energy. With all of the emotion you have in a play that's just extra energy to add to the pile of energy you have already.
4. Being Energized is required. If you have energy in a play it is extremely entertaining to watch. It makes your actions bigger, the feeling stronger, and the acting thick. You also need to be energized to be able to sing and dance in a play. When you're in a play it takes up a lot of energy. People can’t really see what's going on, on the stage unless you use your energy to make your actions bigger. Energy helps you make your movements and actions bigger so everyone can see you.
