My Theatre Progression

As an extremely determined and proactive person, I tend to submerge myself in any project or extracurricular activity I possibly can. I am prepared for this type of experience because I love musical theatre and I am determined to be the best I can possibly be. I am completely willing to work as hard as I need to so I can learn as much as I need to. Having ventured through a plethora of roles, ranging from my first lead at 11 years old, to numerous ensemble and dancing roles, I have become seasoned in the art in my short 16 years of life. No matter what role, I know that performing is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Since a young age, I have been a part of numerous productions that was mostly adults. Being in these productions forced me to see the world of theatre through a more mature point of view. I feel prepared for this unique experience because of my ambition and my love for the art. Being onstage gives me a thrill like nothing else, and the stage is my home. Aside from being onstage, I love to work behind the scenes. I feel if I participate in the theatre in all aspects, that will give me a greater understanding and appreciation for it. I stage managed for the first time when I was 13 years old, I worked the soundboard at 12,and I have volunteered to usher at numerous shows. Seeing all of the hard work that every single person puts into a production deepens my love for the art.
I am prepared for this experience because I am ready and excited to enter an environment where my passion can be considered a career, and I am ready to be around other teenagers who share this
