Verizon absolutely lives its values, which can clearly be seen in many ways. First, Verizon is showing their revenues every year and they have been increasing, proving that their company’s values are effective. Second, whenever you call their customer service or visit a store, all their employees show respect and integrity at all times, which never makes you feel unwanted showing that Verizon has trained their employees well. Lastly, whenever there has been an issue between employee and customer regarding something, Verizon will always try to support the customer even if it is refunding their full amount back for a certain product. Verizon believes that losing money to make a customer happy will lead to that customer coming back and spending …show more content…
Out of their 160,900 employees, they have a 59% of workforce diversity. 7 out of their 12 board members are people that are a woman or of a different color/race. Lastly, an estimate of $25 billion is spent with diverse suppliers. These are facts that Verizon has published publicly on their website to promote a diverse workforce and to encourage applications for employment. Verizon is extremely strict and someone not to mess with when it comes to diversity since they take it very seriously. Verizon makes their managers and leaders goes through extensive amount of training before placing them to work. They take leadership extremely seriously and will not take anyone onboard who is not serious about their job. All of the reviews on their website by verified customers are excellent and all say positive things about their leadership.
