Our assessments About the Organization
We visited the bank several times to assess the workplace environment. The assessment or the information we collected is really interesting. We interviewed the branch manager, Operation manager and Accounts Officer. We also assess their environment by sitting down in the bank for 30 minutes and noted down some interesting things. Our observations begin with the following:
Culture: We asked different people about the culture which is being practiced in their branch. All of them replied that our branch is a well organized branch. We also assessed this. They told that strict dressing code is followed, if anyone found not following the dress code strict action is taken against them. Totally Islamic Culture is practiced. The men and women do respect each other.
Environment: The environment there was so friendly. The Employers interaction was quiet good. They also greeted the customer as they interact for the first time and by leaving them. One of the employee told that the environment totally depends upon the top manager. Because they are the responsible one to make the healthier environment. Strict actions are taken against those employees who use harsh language. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the premises for the employees and for the customers also.
Lower employee: This is one of the major issues that arises within the organizations, that how lower employee is being treated. In this organization, we could not find any kind harshness toward these lower employees. The employee told us that we gave them money on the big events like Eid, Easter. There was no kind of harshness towards these employees.
Vacations: This was very interesting. Every Employee is given a 15 days vacations mandatory. If the employee has not availed this, the objection letter is sent to the employee. 16 sick leaves can be taken and period of 30 days can be avail of the stress leave.
Rewards: Many incentives are given to the employees such as pay bonuses, eid bonuses, and even the gifts are given on major events. The employees are also appreciated from the manager for the good work. And the top managers also contribute the money to give to the lower employee such as the sweepers, security guards.
Flexible hours: All the employees were quiet happy for the working hours. They told us that we are strictly told to leave the branch by 7 pm. And anyone is found there after that time strict actions are taken them.
Recreation: There is one party held once in a month. In which all the employees are requested to attend it. In this party employees from different branches are there. They also told us that every employer’s birthday is celebrated in the branch itself. And the gifts are given to the employer from the rest of the employees.
Greetings: We observed that no greetings were there on the gate. Every customer who comes first has to deal with rude security guards on the gate and they come in the bank. But the employers in the bank they were very good at this. They greeted the customers with good words.
Training sessions: Every employee is provided with a two month training sessions, which is being conducted in Karachi. The respected employee is provided with the air ticket and he goes on in Karachi to attend the training session and then returns back to his/her city and then joins the bank. Level of Satisfaction: All the employees were satisfied with their jobs. But only the thing we got to know was that the employees were not satisfied with the fair payments. That means that are not satisfied with their pays.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths: This branch of Al-Falah bank held a very strong point that in this region no other bank is there. So, every people of this region have to come in this branch and open the account here. More people coming and opening the accounts here will make the reputation of this branch better. And generating the revenue is also made good. It is also for this reason that this Branch ATM is used so much frequently that it has become one of the fastest using ATM.
Weaknesses: One of the major weaknesses of this branch is the location of this branch. Many people go to Islamabad to take out the money from ATM because of its weird location. And because of more using of ATM, the short of money in the ATM allows several people to go to Islamabad.
Opportunities: The internships programs which is being done in this branch, will allow more capable people to come forward. They will have a great opportunity to groom their mind.
And these branch ratings will go up and up.
Threats: We could not find any threats to this branch. But the only thing is of terrorism thing in Pakistan.
Conclusion

In the end, we would like to summarize our report by just looking at some of the important points. By looking at all the scenario of the bank with respect to the psychological workplace environment, it is not important to learn these behaviors or assess them just for sake of the completion of the report, but it is far so important for us in the professional life. It could be useful for us perhaps for all the BBA students to learn them and make it effective for them when they join such organization for the jobs. It 's not just assessing the behaviors of people, it is just as you see the how people interact with each other. We can assess our norms, culture, values and many more things. Psychological workplace environment is a kind of tool which is used almost all over the globe to assess different behaviors of different people.

Recommendations/Suggestions

* I think we should think positive in any case. * The one who is assessing the behavior should be a skillful and experienced person. * While assessing the behavior one should also look at the lower employee, do not ignore them. * Use this assessment in the professional life and even in the personal life. * Do not criticize the organization at spot, if any negative side is there.
