World View In Leadership
Having a worldview in today’s society can be quite hard due to all the negativity and all the problems that we are facing. However, my personal beliefs and the foundation from which my decisions develop all come from within. I have a strong self-awareness and character, I choose to see the good in the world and help other regardless of the situation they are encountering. Morally, I try to always think rationally and out weight the outcomes to see what the best decision is, and this is why I am pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership, because being a great leader can come naturally, but learned about the situations before they arise can help you manage them in an ethical way. Trait-based perspectives of leadership have been an enduring topic throughout history. The actual inception of leadership and trait-based perspectives is arguable. However, there is no denying its evolution, as seen through research. Zaccaro (2007) stated the analysis of leadership and traits dates back to Galton’s (1869) Hereditary Genius, which articulated two distinct and important points. First, a definition of leadership, which describes exclusive and unique characteristics, possessed by individuals. These individuals were so compelling they were capable of changing the path of events with their judgment and decisions (Zaccaro, 2007). This point while antiquated and dated appeared to be the pioneer of the transformational leadership,…

Foundational to the Christian faith is the belief that mankind is created in the image of God. Genesis 1:27 says, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Teachers are responsible for educating the minds of young children. Elementary teachers begin the process of years of education, and many times are the basis for the attitudes of young children toward school. They should teach that all are created in the image of God so they should treat everyone as equal, base teachings on the fruits of the spirit, and be responsible for discipline.…

Taking ENES 317 has exposed me to lot of knowledge such as one leadership/Management skills, personality types, approaches to problems and decision making. In the past, I believed that leadership was a quality that could be learned and taught, but I also thought that leadership would best fit people with some personal trait such as charisma or personality of an extrovert people. With the knowledge gained from this leadership course, I came up with an individual Bill Gates who is successful in leading but an introvert, and he has successfully managed to influence others, who virtually revitalize our personal computers/phones and way of shopping. However, some of the things I knew about leadership before taking ENES317 was that a good leader should be open to new ideas, forgiving to his/her followers, and demonstrate humility. I still believe that without these qualities a leader can only become arrogant in their leadership that their behavior may isolate them from their followers. My focuses on this paper will be to analyze the self-assessments test taken in class and the leadership theories presented in class.…
