Terrorism before and after 9/11 Terrorism is still happening today and it has also happened in the past, so we ask ourselves are we safe in any place ? Before 9/11 there have been terrorist attacks in the U.S which then caused the 9/11 terrorism by beginning war which would be the Middle East and America. Also how they would train each men and get more weapons for them, although some men did not want to fight. After 9/11 we are not safe anymore due to the 9/11 terror because there is a lot of violence in the world and this is why people migrate to another country where they think it would be safe for them.The terrorist attacks are everywhere in the world this is why people migrate, having more security in places where they transport people for example in the airports. The terrorism attacks have changed America because now we fear of the terrorism in our world and how it has affected us. There has been terrorism before 9/11 for example in the article of Roots of War it explains how men are going to be drilled although some men don’t want to fight.
An example from the text would be, “ Contrary to the biological theories of war, it is not easy to get men to fight.” ( Ehrenreich pg. 598). This was before 9/11 because they were beginning to start wars by telling men to help them out and getting the right weapons for them. This may be a reason why the terrorist has begun by starting wars. Another reason of the terrorist attacks would be from the film Where is Osama by Morgan Spurlock. This film relates to the terrorism before 9/11 because they are searching for Osama who is a parlous terrorist person. Osama is one of the common person of terrorism because everyone knows who he is and where he is. Also, while Morgan traveled to the Middle East he’s been asking people around where is Osama and they would just point up to the mountains. Also he told them about America and they said that they aren’t helping their country, but that the government is good for them. Also in the film, there was a man who wished that Osama would destroy his country like he does with others which the man thinks it is not a big problem for him. After 9/11 there are now many terrorist attacks happening here in America.Mathew Greens announces how America changed from and how we fear of them 9/11. An example from the article would be that 2 years later America attacked Iraq and deposed President Saddam (How America Changed the World). This shows how terrorism is still continuing in America and other parts of the states.People are afraid to go out because they fear that there would be terror attacks wherever they would go. For example, in France and Egypt there was a terrorist attack. The one from France it happened in November 13, 2015 this has impacted the world from terrorism and how it has changed their place by making it more secure. Another terrorist attack that barely happened was in Egypt. They were celebrating Palm Sunday while a bomb blew up and left 44 dead and 100 injured and this was carried out by ISIS.(Palm Sunday Attacks). Also in 60 Terrorist plots since 9/11 there are many points of view from people who have seen 9/11 happened. No matter how secure we are the security or military don’t know the plans of the terrorism. Richard Reid was one of the followers of Osama and he was going to commit a terrorist attack in an airplane, but they got him and the bomb he was going to put which this happened in December 2001. Immigration after 9/11 in the text of Not Your Homeland explains how people aren’t really welcome, but they still migrate because there is violence everywhere. An example from the text would be that they were kept in a prison that looked like hotel and that they weren’t allowed to go outside. This would be how terrorism still continues and how people still migrate.Also in the text of Close Encounters with U.S immigrations explains why so many immigrants migrate because they fear where they live. In this text it shows how Americans criticize immigrants who come in and on the way they look. The Americans fear of the Muslims because on the way they look and what the Muslim people do. An example from the text would be, “I Know Americans has a right to defend its border, but Muslims are increasing under suspicion these days.” ( Khan pg. 558)This shows how Muslims keep on migrating to America and the Americans do not want them to be welcome because they are inconvenience and they are also from the Middle East. Security after 9/11 has changed America from all the terrorist attacks.In the article of how 9/11 changed America it explains about there is more security everywhere.
An example from the article would be, “ in a dramatic change in our nation’s attitudes and concerns about safety and vigilance.” ( Matthew Green). And also in this article it explains that before 9/11 there wasn’t much security in airport that they didn’t have to take off their shoes to get through airport security. Then in the text of “Safety through immigration control” In this text it explains controlling immigration because the population increases fast.An example from the text would be, “ i don’t think 9/11 can be attributed to the failure of our immigration laws.”(Krikorian pg.567) This explains how they are controlling their city by security and check the people who migrate and check if they have nothing perilous for
them. In conclusion, there has been terrorist attacks before and after 9/11 . before 9/11 men were being trained to attack another country. And after 9/11 it has changed America by having more advanced security and improving more on weapons. Terrorism has happened for a long time and we ask ourselves “Are we safe in any place “ Well terrorist attacks are still continuing right now.
