Title: Unexpected Crazy Attacks
Introduction: Hard workers up in the towers minding their own business, when all of a sudden a crash arises. Two planes less than 5 minutes, on the morning of September 11, crash into the beautiful twin towers in NYC. Many years before this terrorist attack, in December of 1941, a similar but as well different attack occurred. Planes struck the navy base on Pearl Harbor. Streets are full, people working and a plane strikes a tower in the center of New York City. Working on a navy base and planes come out unexpected with terrorists planning to destroy everything. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was definitely unexpected, as was the plane wrecks on 9/11; many can believe Pearl Harbor did not hit as many emotions because it was not terrorists just people from Japan with hate. with Islamic citizens from a different country. Both attacks came as a shock but different reasoning’s. Looking into the past, September 11 was foreigners with no reason but to start a war with the United States so they took over a plane and crashed it while killing innocent Americans. In 1941 there was reason for the attack, the Japanese wanted to expand the camp and steal the important market.
Pearl Harbor was what seemed to be a planned attack; the Japanese had to practice the attack to make sure they got every second just right. The bombing hurt all the ships but did not get the Pacific Fleet which was what the Japanese really wanted down. All the Pacific Fleet carriers were out this day.
The first plane struck, it was an accident. At least that is what the citizens of America thought. No one knew what exactly happened except for chaos across town. Then out of nowhere another plane makes a sharp turn towards the towers. Once hitting the towers it exploded. After towers America thought it was done, and then there is report, the pentagon was struck by American Airlines Flight 77. The terrorists were Islamic from Saudi Arabia, assuming they were sent by Osama Bin Laden.
The import market belonged to the United States, but the Japanese really wanted it. Thinking the Americans wouldn’t fight back, they were wrong. The Americans and Japanese were always fighting about the import market in America. This is why the Japanese did not think the Americans would fight back. In the back of the Americans mind they were all getting frustrated. China got treated awful by the Japans. Japan even declared war on China. America was not too found of this.
Americans could think this attack was planned by Osama Bin Laden, because the Islamic had no reason to hijack three different planes and kill many families near and far from home.
The Islamic just took over the planes at the airport and felt they needed to crash into the biggest tower, and the pentagon.
The saying was “Awakening the Sleeping Giant.” On December 8th President Roosevelt declared war. The presidents opening words were, “Yesterday, December 7th, 1941---- a date which will live in infamy--- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. Due to the war starting all Japanese were sent to camp. The Japanese were being blamed for the attack. Signs were across towns and towns for them not to be hired for any work.
After the attack the Americans treated the Islamic U.S. citizens different for the simple fact that the Islamic are who attacked us. The Americans felt betrayed felt much betrayed. Americans and Islamic take flight lessons, during these flight lessons the Americans would whisper badly about the
Islamic.
Both attacks were definitely surprising, one more than the other. Pearl Harbor had been planned and Americans knew it would happen eventually with the Japanese wanting the import market and arguing a lot. When the bombs dropped war and been started. Unlike with September 11, it was unexpected. It was close to home. Planes flying and crashing killing many Americans on the planes and in the buildings, it was a sad situation that never should have happened.
