Writing Comes Natural To Me

Writing is not something that comes natural to me. Writing is a very long and tedious process mainly because I have to collect all my thoughts and try to put them into grammatically correct sentences. I have written many shitty first drafts in the past 17 years of my life. For example, my last English teacher, which I hated with a burning passion, made my class write an essay about a monster. No not a monster like chupacabra but instead a monster in the positive connotation. I wanted to write about my celebrity mom but the girl in front of me picked Beyoncé ahead of time so I had to settle for the next best thing, One direction. One Direction, at the time, was a really big deal to me. I had been a fan since middle school and I pretty much knew everything about their life’s so the
I had to rewrite my first paragraph a total of 4 times! In the end, my essay was amazing, one of the best things I have ever written, but still! It took me 4 times to get the intro right. I’ve had more than a handful of bad English teachers and none of them have made my writing any better. All of my essays have been just me trying my best and somehow always get a passing grade.
